That dirt pit in Fort Greene Park

The New York Times ran an article on the big dirt pit in Fort Greene Park. The article pits general park users and soccer players against each other. I don't think it's just one factor. Rather, I believe that dirt pit is the result of soil compaction from a number of the park's uses.

Greene Hill is equipped with notes, forums, and blogs. What exactly does that mean? Allow me to explain. The three are similar, but have unique purposes. Notes are for posting network wide announcements–usually about the network itself. The forum is for discussions. The blog can be written to by anyone in the network (theoretically) and is intended for longer articles (e.g. reviews, rants, essays, articles, etc.). Continue
